Bug Description

Espresso (live) hangs on hardware detection (89%) consequently where breezy didn't. Furthermore the US keyboard results in a non-identified keyboard in the selection list.

btw: all hardware worked well under the live CD.

It's running update-initramfs, which can take some time. Could you attach /var/log/installer/espresso to this bug?

Please file your keyboard issue as a separate espresso bug. Also, if you could be a bit clearer about exactly what you're doing and the problem you're seeing, I'd appreciate it; I don't quite understand this part of your report.

I'm afraid there's nothing else I can do with this bug without more information and log files. Eric, if you can reproduce it with Ubuntu 6.06.1, please reopen this bug and attach /var/log/installer/syslog. (Anyone else, please file a new bug.)
