timezone map in installer is pixellated

Bug #367066 reported by Sam Lai on 2009-04-26
Affects Status Importance Assigned to Milestone
ubiquity (Ubuntu)

Bug Description

I'm just installing Kubuntu 9.04 release, and the timezone map in the installer is quite pixellated. It isn't unusable or anything major, but would look much better if it wasn't so pixellated - use vector graphics perhaps?

My screen resolution has a max of 1280 x 800, running on a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3200 graphics chip.

(First time bug reporter, so if this is in the wrong place, please move it where it should be :)

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test a current, supported, Ubuntu version. If you can test it, and it is still an issue, we would appreciate if you could upload updated logs by running apport-collect 367066, and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
