Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity-frontend-kde

Ubiquity's step 4 (partitioning) should display bars for what is current on the partition and also how much space to provide on side by side installs.

However this is missing completely on install side by side which is it's most important part, screenshot added.

This is still in effect on the cd from 20090409

Side by Side wont be there using a New Virtual Machine which is correct

However, SIde by Side does display when you reinstall on a VM
but the bar graph is indeed missing
this is still the case with daily-live kubuntu a/o 4/10/09

This bug was fixed in the package ubiquity - 1.12.8

---------------
ubiquity (1.12.8) jaunty; urgency=low

  [ Roman Shtylman ]
  * KDE frontend:
    - Fix display of automatic partitioning choices (LP: #358519).

  [ Colin Watson ]
  * GTK frontend:
    - Fix window icon; gtk.window_set_default_icon_from_file seems to work
      better if it's called before the window is created (LP: #358961).
  * Update translations from Launchpad.
