Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

This is a bug I encountered during the install of Jaunty Alpha 5 from a liveCD (actually a USB stick). The partitioner displays a graphical representation of the selected disk, where each partition has a different colour and its size is printed as a percentage of the total disk size. These percentages were wrong in the Alpha 5 installer (they weren't in the Alpha 4, if I remember correctly): instead of the percentage, the size in bytes (I think) was reported instead, with the '%' sign appended.

This is a minor bug in that it didn't prevent me from installing the system in any way. But still...

I can confirm this bug in Jaunty Alpha 5. For an approximately 16.5Go partition it displays 1782418176000%.

I had the same bug: partitioner showed me two volumes with 24387951974400% and 617715302400%
