Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

Install Ubuntu 8.1 from CD on a Compaq Deskpro EN. Repeatable crash at 94% of install during hardware configuration. Existing OS on machine are Windows NT and DSL 3.0. Free space at end of drive set with manual configuration to use 12gb as / with format option set.file:///var/log/partman
