Bug Description
Build Version:9.04 20020203 Date:20090203
Kernal 2.6.28-6-generic
Environment used for testing:
UNR daily build 20090203 i386
Summary: The screen resolution presented during the installation of image 2009-02-03 is too large.
The lower half of the screen is missing. This makes installation hit or miss.
The installation was on a 9" netbook
Installed ok on a toshiba unit
I agree with the comments.
I have just installed it on an Acer Aspire One (8.9" screen, 1024x600 screen), although it was a difficult affair having to guess buttons by tabs (since I have installed a few ubuntu systems, I know the drill :) )
Kudos for making the tabs consistent enough to do this, but the ideal solution is to see them all on the same screen (or at least have a scroll option).
An install would be near impossible for someone not familiar with the install process.
