installer crashed trying to install grub

Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

I used the live CD kubuntu 8.10 amd64 to install.
It selected my esata drive and repartitioned.
While trying to install grub it crashed and sent me here. :)
I have not tried to reboot my system until I have written this bug.
