Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

Indicating the floppy disk as the place to install grub bootloader in Ubiquity (Intrepid i386) triggers fatal error. No floppy seek can be heard. This problem can be reproduced on two differently configured systems:

System 1:
Intel Core 2 Q9450
Asus P5Q3 Deluxe (P45/ICH10R) BIOS 1306
1 SATA HDD with Windows XP and Vista already installed

System 2:
Intel Pentium 4
Asus P4PE (845PE/ICH4) BIOS 1006
2 PATA HDD, Windows XP installed on first hdd and Intrepid installation on second hdd

The problem affects the alternate installer CD installation procedure also. Installation with Hardy 8.04.1 under the same conditions works flawlessly.
