Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Could you please attach /var/log/installer/syslog to this bug, following the directions in http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingUbiquity/AttachingLogs? Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I was sure that I attach that file, but I replace it by /var/log/syslog in tar ....
I reinstall kubuntu once again and I'm not sure if this syslog still exists, but I'll check today evening.

I think that I know the problem here. I didn't format partition for /, and there was another distribution of linux (slackware) installed. After formatting this partition kubutu installed with success.

Maybe installer should check if partition is formatted.

Ahh if this is the case then this is a duplicate of bug 47046 and is fixed in version 6.06.1.
