Bug Description
While installing from the 8.04 beta desktop ISO, I received the following message (as taken from /var/log/
parted_server: OUT: File system is reporting the free space as 263138 clusters, not 270328 clusters.
parted_server: OUT:
parted_server: OUT: Ignore
parted_server: OUT: Cancel
parted_server: OUT:
parted_server: OUT: Time
/lib/partman/
/lib/partman/
/lib/partman/
The actual error message "File system is reporting...." appeared as a "Ignore"/"Cancel" dialog box. However, it does not include information about which filesystem is being checked and what the consequences of ignoring or canceling might be.
It would be nice to either suppress the message entirely or make it a little more useful.

I also believe that this isn't useful to the average user and would much rather suppress the display of the message while letting it continue to be logged to /var/log/partman. Colin, is this an acceptable change, or would you prefer to see a different course of action?
