Bug Description
I recently installed Ubuntu 22.04 LTS as a dual boot on my Lenovo Flex 5 14ARE05 and the touchpad doesn't work.
The Touchpad is not displayed in settings. It is also missing from my xinput, and libinput list-devices. I've checked the BIOS and there isn't a toggle there either.
I have tried various kernels (5.19.17, 5.15, 5.14, 5.4, 6.02, and the latest 6.04) in mainline.
I changed the grub to:
GRUB_CMDLINE_
GRUB_CMDLINE_
also each separately and with nomux and/or noloop set =1.
I've turned the psmouse on and off with sudo modprobe.
I'm not sure what else to do, or is there not a fix for this yet? I think ultimately the issue lies in xinput and libinput not showing the touchpad at all, but I can't find a fix for that either.
hardware that is installed is the MSFT0001:00 04F3:3140 mouse
