Installer crashes before live environment

Bug Description
Booting from USB stick (USB to microSD reader), select Kubuntu from GRUB, splash screen and loads, then a pop up message shows that the installer has crashed. Click OK, second pop up shows, click OK, screen goes black, then KDE loads fine.
