From the bug description:

CasperMD5CheckMismatches: ./casper/filesystem.squashfs
CasperMD5CheckResult: fail

It's possible you had a bad write to your installation media or for some other reason its contents could not be read correctly. If you're still having problems you should try re-writing the image to your media (and may be re-download it too).

By the way, you're installing from the original 20.04 release ISO which will have a lot of updates to download and install after the installation process is complete. The latest ISO (20.04.4) can be found at https://ubuntu.com/#download. It was released very recently so will have very few updates to install after installation.

Thanks Paul.

I downloaded the Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS again from the official website and made a bootable USB using rufus which actually worked with Secure Boot turned off on UEFI and writing this comment from the fresh build.

Earlier I tried Universal USB installer and balenaEtcher but nether of them worked.

Excellent Pankaj! I'm glad you managed to install Ubuntu successfully. I'll close this as "Invalid" as you didn't actually encounter a bug in the installer.
