Don't believe this to be a duplicate of the bug listed. This is after successful installation.

I have same if not similar problem. Can install Ubuntu 22.04 OK but on reboot "no operating system found" Dell XPS l702X my bios has no EFI options.

21.04.2022 - I installed xUbuntu 22.04 on computer with BIOS (no UEFI) - installation and reboot OK. There was only warning - "there is no EFI partition...". Then I put SSD in box SATA-USB and checked boot on computer with UEFI in legacy mode - OK.
Check if you select "device for boot loader installation" as disk like /dev/sda (not a partition /dev/sda1)
