Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

If I boot the current Hardy live CD, the ubiquity icon on the desktop shows just a default icon (see screenshot below). This happens with the daily-live amd64 image 20080221.

Kind regards,
Jan

OK. Thank you to warn us !
This is the first time that I help correcting a bug. Just to say that I am not accustomed, also, I'm not sure of what I do, and how.
First question : do I require to warn each time I try to correct a bug ?
Second question : do I post the answer as a comment ?

PS : I begin to search the bug.

In the package ubiquity-frontend-gtk, file /usr/share/applications/ubiquity-gtkui.desktop, line 142 :
Replace ubiquity.png by /usr/share/pixmaps/ubiquity.png
