install of 20.04.2 failed - launcher crashed

Bug Description

Tried to install ubuntu 20.04.2. The disk has partitions so i tried to have it reformat an existing partition (leaving hte other partitions untouched) and mount / - install fails - no clue why no information provided.

It's possible you had a bad write to your media or for some other reason its contents could not be read correctly. Please always allow the integrity check to complete so that any problems can be displayed.

Closing as "Invalid" due to the time that has elapsed since this issue was reported.
