While installing Ubuntu on my computer (from a bootable USB disk) the installation process crashed.

Thank you for your bug report, from the information recorded

' CasperMD5CheckResult: fail'

it indicates the image in use failed verification, you should try downloading and recording it again, maybe on another usb device
