Bug Description
1. lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
Release: 20.04
2. -
3. I was expecting that the install completes and I'll be asked to restart into Kubuntu 20.04
4. The installer stopped with a message letting me know it crashed and advising to run "ubuntu-bug ubiquity"
I tried installing Kubuntu 20.04 because Kubuntu 20.04.1 installer failed the same way. I tried
- no updates during install
- no 3rd party software
- disconnected from the network
I tried installing it on the same disk I had a Kubuntu 20.04.1 got through updating 19.10, then 20.04. Besides the old EFI and root partitions (which I deleted), on the disk there were two more storage (no operating system) partitions.
