Bug Description

During the ubuntu desktop 20.04 installation it is possible to select "Erase disk and install Ubuntu"(https://i.imgur.com/oEWU1u7.jpg) which allows to select two sub-options "Use LVM" and "Encrypt the new Ubuntu installation for security". (https://i.imgur.com/zGdcTWR.jpg)

The other option, in case you do not want to "erase" your current disk or desire to setup a custom partition layout, you can also choose "Something else" which brings you to a manual partitioning tool.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to configure LVM using this tool. (https://i.imgur.com/unt0CJ1.jpg)

I would like to suggest to support this. Manual LVM configruation is already supported by the installers of ubuntu server, and also by other desktop distros like fedora workstation.

Thanks for submitting the bug. Curtin project is not currently part of the desktop installer. I've added the correct project (Ubiquity) for your request.
