Bug Description
Could not install Ubuntu 16.04 on New AMD Ryzen 3900x with Asus TUF x570 Gaming Plus motherboard
Hard drive is Samsung nvme 1TB 3500/3500 read/write.
Ubuntu 18.04 was already installed, now it is not allowing me to install 16.04 by erasing all contents.

Does this problem still occur with Ubuntu 16.04.7 LTS which was released on August 13, 2020?
Note that Ubuntu 16.04.7 LTS was the last update to Ubuntu 16.04 and official support for Ubuntu 16.04.7 LTS ended in April 2021. It is recommended that you update to a supported release such as Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS or Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS.
