Bug Description

When booting from an iso all Ubuntu and flavours have the option to Install or "You can try <distro> without making any changes to your computer, directly from this CD"

This should be changed to something other than "directly from this CD" I would recommend something like "directly from this iso" since many users will no longer try or install from a CD or DVD.

A workaround I've seen has been to say 'Installation Media' rather than DVD/CD. Bug report raises a good point given the move away from these by default.

In this same vein, there are some strings referencing how some problems with the live installer can be caused by the person's disk/DVD/CD needing to be cleaned or burned to a slower speed. Might be time to alter or scrap these as well.
