Bug Description

I have tried everything to recover from an upgrade to bionic beaver. It has changed my permissions to root and I cannot change that back I have all my work and music saved on here. I have tried chmod but it ignores it I also in the past used Krusader in the sudo it would change files easily none of these work anymore and I have a book on here that I need to save.
