Bug Description
SW :: Release: Version 7.10 (October 2007)
HW :: Gateway PIII
Problem:
When running the LiveCD installation, the user decides to close a status window when trying to abort an action in progress. An example of this action would be accidentally click the "restore partition information" button, and trying to cancel that process. In doing so, clicking the "X" on the window closes the window, but the process completes (restores the partitions). Following this action, all of the new status windows are not able to be maximized, and appears as a small, titleless 20x20 window that cannot be resized, maximized, or closed. As a result, the user does not know the status of the installation as the installation proceeds.
This is a Minor issue or Enhancement, but has been repeated by the user on this box (just a low end test mule box with User Version Ubuntu w/X). This causes issues when there are pop-ups (not connected to the internet to check for updates), and the user cannot see these boxes to continue. Live Installation Restart appears to be the only remedy.
The knowledge base was searched, however a short search did not reveal this particular issue. Please feel free to 'dupe' this to another bug report if this has been covered.

is this still an issue?
