when i try yo install ubuntu, it says cd dvd faliure or hard disk faliure

I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. it's likely that either the image or the device you are using are faulty, can you use the CD boot option to check the image? or maybe try to record it again on another dvd/stick?
