Bug Description
I was installing Ubuntu 18.04.2 in a SSD from DVD I burnt.
This is the second time the installer crashed.
From the same DVD, I succeeded an install with another machine.

It's possible you had a bad write to your media or for some other reason its contents could not be read. When having such problems please try the option to check the integrity of the image from the installer boot menu, and if this confirms that the media is corrupt, try re-writing and/or re-downloading it.
