I was installing Ubuntu 18.04.2 in a SSD from DVD I burnt.
This is the second time the installer crashed.

The following errors can be found in UbiquitySyslog.txt which was automatically attached to this bug report:

Apr 13 16:56:02 ubuntu kernel: [ 1189.977984] SQUASHFS error: zlib decompression failed, data probably corrupt
Apr 13 16:56:02 ubuntu kernel: [ 1189.977988] SQUASHFS error: squashfs_read_data failed to read block 0x2d079a92

It's possible you had a bad write to your media or for some other reason its contents could not be read. When having such problems please try the option to check the integrity of the image from the installer boot menu, and if this confirms that the media is corrupt, try re-writing and/or re-downloading it.
