Bug Description

I had Ubuntu 14.04 LTS installed with updates to 16.04 LTS and 18.04 LTS. After suppresion of VISTA and data on the Hard disk I tried to reinstall 14.04 LTS with my DVD because I heard 18.04 LTS does not work with 32bits systems. It could be my DVD is no more good enought for the installation? The installation failed in the middle of the procedure.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We noticed that you were installing the LTS version of Ubuntu using an older version of the installation media. The latest point release of 14.04 is 14.04.5. Please try installing from that version of the installation media and see if that resolves your issue. Thanks in advance!
