description |
After a fresh installation of Ubuntu Mate, the keyboard layout must be changed again.
in /etc/default/keyboard the Variable and Value is set XKBLAYOUT="us"
I do not know if this is happening with all keyboard layouts or just Swiss German.
after changing the value to "ch" it is working correctly systemwide.
Also while installing, the swissgerman keyboard is not right and must be choosen with autorecognition. |
