Triaged to Incomplete. According to syslog: No space left on device. You have either run out of RAM (384 MB or better) or disk space (5 GB or greater). What are the specifications of your machine?

Thanks for your report. I'm afraid 2GB is not quite enough space to install Ubuntu. The fact that the installer didn't warn you properly about this is also bug 48355, and will be fixed in Ubuntu 8.04.
