Bug Description

I am using the latest Kubuntu installer that I downloaded today (June 13, 2018). I also verified SHA256 checksum of the ISO file.

During the installation, after partitioning is finished and the installation phase starts, after a little progress the installer crashes.

I have repeated the process a few times, e.g. selecting or unselecting installation of updates during install and each time the same issue happens.

Your EFI system partition is corrupt; you will need to repair it with either dosfsck or Windows' chkdsk/scandisk.
