Bug Description

The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem regarding ubiquity. This problem was most recently seen with package version 18.04.14, the problem page at https://errors.ubuntu.com/problem/82f7f7e7923663c7b2123c7f1f49af29f6ff4d77 contains more details, including versions of packages affected, stacktrace or traceback, and individual crash reports.

Confirmed. Not just by the 887 people who report this crash on errors.ubuntu.com, but also on one particular machine I have where the installer keeps crashing:

For Installing ubuntu 18.04 on MacBook Pro 2015, I have this problem.

In the Live Version on MacBook Pro 2015 (13 inches, Retina) I changed the 'Screen Scale' from 200% to 100%, settings > Device > Display, and solved

I had the same issue on a Dell XPS-13 with 4k display and changing 'Screen Scale' to 100% for the installation did the trick.
