Bug Description

I was trying to install from a live-DVD spin from daily of Lubuntu 18.04 and after copying the files it moved to "install the system" and the installer crashed after a few seconds . . . couldn't read the bug report well enough to figure out why it crashed. I previously had booted the live system and found no problems with it running on a '12 Mac Pro . . . . I used "custom" and everything seemed to pass muster with my selections, of which I was installing the file system and /home folder in sdb and had the bootloader set up for sda, but the install didn't get to the "install grub" portion of the install. I did see another gent on the lubuntu-users list serve reporting a crash on his install, but at the time wasn't ready to play with it so I don't know which of the bug report numbers is his.

No worries at all, I saw that bug, but I didn't get any "commands not
found" and didn't see any reasons, like "permission" denied.

After three attempts to install the system, two of which "failed to install
grub" and in each attempt the installer crashed out, after the third
process I found I did actually have the file system installed, and after
shutting down and rebooting a previous installation of grub "found" the
Lubuntu install, so I am typing this in the freshly installed Lu 18.04
system . . . generally all seems "well."
