Bug Description

I got the same condition testing the i386 ISO but didn't report it. I selected 'encrypt home' but after an error message (twice) the selection was unselected and I could not move on until I left that unselected.

I would like the entire disk encrypted and seem to be unable to do this from the installer.

The encrypted home option has been removed from ubiquity and its actually redundant if you are choosing to use full disk encryption.

  * Remove the encrypted userdir option from the gtk installer since
ecryptfs is going to move to universe. The keep the base code in case
the option is added back later using another technology.

I filed another bug about the fact that even if "encrypt $HOME" is chosen, it only throws an error. So it should be removed no matter what. LP:1761396
