Bug Description

Installer crashed after attempting to check the 'format partition' checkbox for / (root) in the main partition list view. Partition can still be marked for formatting correctly by selecting the partition, editing it and marking the checkbox on the edit dialog-box.

Encountered the same issue during ISO Testing. From the traceback I see this should be really simple to fix.

As a workaround for those that do encounter this bug, ubiquity only crashes when the format checkbox is checked in the main partition list view. If you click on the partition, then Edit and check the format checkbox in the edit form, all succeeds and the partition is marked for formatting correctly.
Let me update the bug report.
