Attemptng Load an New version of Lubuntu, Lubuntu 17.04

I was a loading a new version of Lubuntu 17.04 on an old i386 system, 9300 Inspiron Dell System. Failed n trying to repartition to keep part of the older partition and install the Lubuntu 17.04 on
rest of drive with another partition.
