@Jeremy, I just tried the latest daily of the Unity installer, I get a black screen instead of the splash screen and boot is stuck there.

Also I can confirm the issue still happens with the latest daily image of Ubuntu GNOME installer

Is there any way you can get logs from the 17.04 "zesty" install environment? The logs attached to this bug are from your working 16.10 "yakkety" install.

No, the installer crashes at boot. I tried booting the final image without "quiet splash" options and it gets stuck right after mentioning starting the ubuntu-gnome session.

I attached logs from yakkety just to include details about the hardware.

@Jeremy is there a way to get a more verbose log at stdout of the boot process, to find out what's going wrong?
