Bug Description

Error 5 Input/output error

End result the HD would not boot. I reinstalled Grub from terminal and HD would boot to grub> prompt. Attempted to reinstall Lubuntu and resulted in same input/output error although it seemed like the installer ran a little bit longer before crashing.

Your installation medium is corrupt; you will need to recreate it and may want to verify it using the check disc option at the boot menu.
