Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

I have an IBM t40 that is partitioned to 30gig with windows and 8 gig empty to install ubuntu. The liveCD boots, and when i run the installer it crashes, specifically "ubiquity". subsequently it causes other crashes, in "dpkg-divert".....i have checked the CD for errors. it is possible that there are still errors I suppose, so i will try burning another image of gutsy at a slower speed then checking it for errors before i install. this is a pain in the ass because the i had feisty fawn and it installed and ran just fine.

thanks
Rich

Thank you for reporting this bug. Did it work for you to burn a new CD? Have you checked the md5 sum of the downloaded iso file?
