boot loder crashes on 5th step of install

Bug Description
i get a faulty drive message so i throw in a new drive to replace a perfectly fine drive .
and the boot loader crashes at the same spot step 5 so i bought a new drive for nothing , or i now have dual hard drives :)
i need to figure this out
