Installer crashes at Keyboard detect screen(but can continue) then crashes at configuring time-zone

Bug Description

I am installing under VirtualBox, with default settings using latest build of VirtualBox. An error comes up at Keyboard detect screen but can continue past user details and then finally crashes completely at Configuring time-zones.

The following from /var/syslog may be helpful:
