i was using a laptop hdd connected as an external HDD on my pc to install ubuntu 15.10. i have tried many times to instrall ubuntu but the insaller crashes every single time

I am using a 16 GB sandisk cruzer blade to install ubuntu. And i had made
that using universal usb installer. I tried 2-3 different pendrives that
dowsnt seems to be the issue. Pls look into it ASAP
