Bug Description

I tried to install the 16.04 beta to an ext4 partition from an USB stick and it crashed while copying files.

Your installation medium is corrupt; you will need to recreate it and may want to verify it using the check disc option from the boot menu.

I just experienced the same problem. Checked the install disk for errors, and it found none.
