Bug Description
When installing Ubuntu on an Intel machine with an NVIDIA graphics card, ubiquity seems stalled just after clicking "continue" in step "Preparing to install Ubuntu".
Logging into VT1 I see that apt-get is running and installing additional drivers, namely Intel Microcode and NVIDIA's.
Moreover, I think that in this step additional stuff is run, not only additional drivers installation, but this takes the most time.
On an Atom machine this can take up to 5 min which is unacceptable without some notice. The common user will think the installation is doomed and give up.
