Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

live session test - Edubuntu Desktop i386 (20071016):

tried to enable desktop effects in live session _before_ install. restricted-manager automatically downloaded nvidia driver and I was asked to reboot - which I didn't do.

Then, when booting into the fresh install X is broken and doesn't start. Installing nvidia-glx manually fixes this.

12:22 <cjwatson_> oh, nvidia-glx* isn't on the Edubuntu CD
12:23 <cjwatson_> fixing this properly will probably have to wait for networkless-installation-fixes in hardy; any attempt to fix it now stands a good chance of breaking other things :-(
