Bug Description

I create a live USB from today's image (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/daily-live/20150421/vivid-desktop-i386.iso), boot it, and select Try Kubuntu and get a blank screen, both on real hardware and in a VMware Player VM.

happens on both i386 and amd64
may be the same as bug 1436952 (X crash) or bug 1446725 (kactivitmanagerd) or both or neither. What a mess.

should be fixed by new ubiquity upload, respinning images..
