Kubuntu Vivid Beta 2. After sleep the keyboard layout is set as default and can't be switched

Kubuntu Vivid Beta 2

After the computer is put in sleep mode (e.g. by closing the lid of my laptop) the default layout is set, and the layout switcher (on the tray bar) gets stuck until I change something in the keyboard setting window and apply the change.
The problem seems to reside in Xorg which reset the Keyboard layout,

I don't think you put the correct package here, I was unable to find the correct one however.
Nevertheless, this bug affects me as well.
Each time the laptop awakes from sleep, I have to change something in "Keyboard Layouts" module and apply it in order for the language indicator to start changing again, just like OP.

This release of Ubuntu is no longer receiving maintenance updates. If this is still an issue on a maintained version of Ubuntu please let us know.
