No upgrade option on "Installation type" screen

I encountered this problem during iso testing for the 14.04.1, in the upgrade (image) test case for Ubuntu Gnome:

I'm attempting to upgrade from an up-to-date 14.04 installation to 14.04.1. Step 6 instructs me to "Select the 'Upgrade Ubuntu GNOME' option," but no such option exists.

The test case instead of:

"To execute this test, a pre-existing ubuntu (or derivative) installation is needed"

should read:

"To execute this test, a pre-existing ubuntu (or derivative) installation OF AN OLDER MAJOR VERSION is needed"
