Bug Description

Had the same problem when running live desktop. Was able to bring up working terminal (Alt F2). Internet connection working okay.

I expected a working desktop.

Could you please run memtest from the Live CD to ensure that your system's memory is functioning well?

Ran memtest for a couple of hours and found no issues with memory (1.5G).
