Binary package hint: system-config-printer
s-c-p 0.7.70-1ubuntu2 always set my page size to letter. Here in france, default page size is A4 (iso). |
s-c-p 0.7.70-1ubuntu2 always set my page size to letter when adding a printer.
Here in france, default page size is A4 (iso).
In fact gnome-cups-manager have the same bug.
Using hal-cups-utils, printer is automatically created (right driver/description) but paper size is set to "letter" not "A4" |

Since Tribe5 and confirmed on Tribe6 for my french installation with dektop-i386 iso
/etc/papersize exist under live session, and contain "a4"
But after installation :
/etc/papersize don't exist
and we have a /etc/papersize.dpkg-inst that contain "a4"
