Bug Description
steps to reproduce:
0) prerequisites (probably do not matter?): pre-format disk to 3 partitions: boot (~200mb, ext2), system (~20gb, ext4), home (~80gb, ext4); all partitions empty and unused.
1) start lubuntu 13.10 (64bit) installation.
2) choose encrypted home 'who are you' user-setup dialogue.
3) click 'continue'.
4) notification window pops up (title 'ubi-usersetp crashed'): ubi-usersetup failed with exit code 1. further information may be found in /var/log/syslog. do you want to try running this step again before continuing? if you do not, your intallation may fail entirely or may be broken.
5) chosing 'try again' would fail again
6) chosing 'continue anyway' would lead to a stuck installation process
Expected behaviour:
installation continues and succeeds
/var/log/syslog reads:
WARNING: there were no usable swap devices to be encrypted. exiting.
/usr/share/
cp: cannot stat '/etc/crypttab'

when adding a (even very small) swap partition the installation succeeds.
as my system features enough ram for my needs plus an ssd which i would not want to wear unnecessarily i was hoping to be able to install lubuntu (fed up with unity and gnome3 -> lxde) without being forced into any certain partition scheme.
