Bug Description

Running testcase Xubuntu Desktop i386 - Install (entire disk) of Trusty Tahr's daily build (2013-11-18).

Trying to install on a virtual machine from a USB, ubiquity crashed at the begining of the instalation.

"The installer encountered an error copying files to the hard disk:
[Errno 5] Input/output error

This is often due to a faulty CD/DVD...."

The instalation was not being done from a CD/DVD but from a USB stick and the ISO MD5SUM was previously checked.

The log file /var/log/syslog from the failing install would be helpful to diagnose what is wrong.

Unfortunately I'm not able to provide the log file anymore, since that crash happened in my tests machine, which since then has been several times formatted to continue testing .
